Looking for an alternative to sport drinks?
Try a squeeze of SUE BEE Honey in your bottle of water as an easy substitute for expensive sports drinks. Combined honey with other healthy foods can add to your total nutrition and gives you an energy boost. One of the most important things to remember when you’re on the go is to stay hydrated. The benefits of carbohydrate consumption prior to, during and following endurance exercise are well documented.
Pre-Exercise
Honey taken before and during exercise can help maintain blood glucose levels and prevent premature fatigue.
During Exercise:
Research has shown that using honey as carbohydrate source while exercising significantly improves performance during endurance cycling trials.
Post Exercise:
After exercise, carbohydrates are necessary to replenish muscles and liver glycogen and prepare the athlete for the next training bout.
ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda can help to remove dirt residue and wax from produce. Use the ARM & HAMMER Baking soda shaker to sprinkle over wet produce, then scrub and rinse. When mixed with water, Baking Soda will remove dirt, wax and residue from the skin of fruits (like apples, peaches, nectarines, pears, and plums) and vegetables (like potatoes, zucchini, squash, carrots, peppers, and cucumbers).
ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda is pure and food-safe, and it doesn’t get absorbed into the produce… so it’s a “natural” for this job!
